The Fire Island Boatel is pleased to offer ten newly renovated suites on the shore of Kismet, Fire Island.

Kismet is the westernmost beach community on Fire Island, known for its laid-back and friendly atmosphere. Guests can spend the day relaxing at the beach, riding bikes around the island, or grabbing a drink at one of Kismet’s local restaurants. Only a short ferry or water taxi ride away from Bay Shore, Long Island, Kismet is everyone’s favorite local paradise.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a family-friendly vacation destination, the Fire Island Boatel is the place for you.

Our Standard Suites sit directly on Kismet’s waterfront, offering the best views of the Great South Bay, Fire Island Inlet Bridge, and Fire Island Lighthouse. Each suite has a king or queen bed and pull-out couch, comfortably sleeping up to four guests. Suites are equipped with a full bathroom, fully stocked kitchenette complete with a refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop, and your very own private deck overlooking the water.

Our Premium Sunset Suite is one of the finest accommodations that Fire Island has to offer, situated on the waterfront in the westernmost corner of the Fire Island Boatel. This suite has a king bed and pull-out couch, all of the same amenities as our Standard Suites, as well as a 400 square foot private porch furnished with comfortable seating. The sunset views that this suite has to offer are second to none.

All of our guests have exclusive access to the Fire Island Boatel’s expansive grounds, featuring a private beach, lounge chairs, numerous outdoor seating areas, gas barbecues, outdoor showers, yard games, laundry facilities, and an ice machine.

The in-unit amenities include: all linens, beach chairs and towels, Keurig coffee machine, k-cups, all cookware, glassware, and utensils! Wifi and smart TV.

SUITES

Each of our suites has a king bed and a pull out couch, comfortably sleeping up to four guests. Guests have access to a full bathroom, kitchenette complete with a refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop, and a private deck overlooking the Great South Bay.

Lovely people - Amazing experiences

Having never been to Fire Island, we were so amazed how beautiful it really is there. We stayed at the Fire Island Boatel Kismet and we could not have picked a better place to get the true feel of what Kismet and the rest of Fire Island is really like. We highly recommend the Fire Island Boatel Kismet for anyone who wants to truly get a feel of what Fire Island life is all about. It is also conveniently located near great restaurants, entertainment, a great wine store and a market that has just about everything you would need.

My family’s stay at the Fire Island Boatel was truly exceptional. The location could not be any more convenient, it is literally a 30 second walk from the ferry dock. There was a gas grill, outdoor games, lounge chairs and picnic tables also scattered about the large private grounds. The best of all was how centrally located it is to everything while still feeling removed from it all at the same time. 10/10 stay, looking forward to returning!

The Boatel is awesome. We stayed in a suite (everything is newly renovated and super clean!) with our kids last week and we can’t wait to go back. The staff is fantastic and the location can’t be beat! We had our morning coffee and our after dinner cocktails on the deck overlooking the bay. We can’t say enough great things about this place

So glad we found this place, it was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. It is pristine and so beautiful. The bay view and little private bay beach were so relaxing and the private backyard area with grills, games and lounge chairs was huge! Our family of four stayed in a suite at The Boatels and had an amazing time! We were warmly greeted by Jill and shown to a suite with an absolutely beautiful view of the Great South Bay. The private deck is comfortable and cozy to sit and watch the most spectacular sunsets. The immaculate suite is a beautifully decorated, comfortable studio. The yard has plenty of seating, bbq’s and fun games for everyone. Jill was so accommodating and helpful in assuring we enjoyed our stay. We love Kismet, the accommodations and the sunsets! We are looking forward to visiting again soon.
